Cleans the rooting zone. The decomposition of cellulose and other polysaccharides is an important process in the micro biological ecosystem that exists in the rhizosphere (the region around the plant’s roots). Nature has its own way of decomposing these compounds, but for many highly efficient cultures, this process is non-existent or too slow. To make sure that the organic molecules are effectively decomposed, Professor-Green Enzym is added to the substrate. This product contains a mixture of enzymes that breaks down polysaccharides into monosaccharides. The latter, as opposed to polysaccharides, are water-soluble and can therefore be washed away. This is especially important when using inert substrates such as rock wool or coco peat to cultivate your plants.
